TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL RECOGNITION

My group and I were chosen three years in a row to represent Ontario Tech at Level Up's anuual showcase held in downtown Toronto. 

In 2023, we were honoured to receive 3rd place recognition in the Overall Best Game category

Gamecon is the annual Game Development showcase co-hosted by  Ontario Tech’s Game Development Student’s Association (GDSA) and Game Development Faculty (GDF). 

During my time at OTU, my group and I received 5 awards on 9 nominations, including "Best Game" nomination in each of our four years. 

I participated in Ontario Tech's Brilliant Catalyst and Venture Creation programs. My team and I won first place during the first round of judging for Brilliant Catalyst, and first place for Venture Creation's end of semester competition. These competitions took months work of time and effort, and was judged by a committee of various industry leaders.

 My time at Ontario Tech included the opportunity to create a presentation commemorating the City of Oshawa’s 150 Anniversary that, through a combination of significant physical and digital archival research and personally visiting numerous historically important locations, was recognized by the city for its quality and historical accuracy. I am confident my research and project skills are a strong asset for any potential employer.
