Exploring my creative journey through graphics, level design, and photography

    01/11

    VFX & DESIGN Showcase

    Menu

This video shows off both the multistaged Portal effect.

It also showcases the Swarmed effect (utilizing curl noise)

    Magic Missile

Magic Missile was made by defining a center point for a particle to rotate around, and then drawing a trail after said particle with it's own noise and colour dependent on lifetime

    Lightning

Lightning is a trail only particle effect, utilizing an extreme amount of noise with a very limited lifetime in order to replicate the controlled volatility of lightning

    Fireball

Fireball utilizes 4 separate layers in order to achieve it's complex appearance. Most of the sub particles instantiate off of their parent particles, keeping the whole system adaptable to whatever environment it interacts with

    Moonset The Asteroid Field

The Asteroid Field is the final cumulation of Moonset's environmentally based story, and allows the player to soar through the upper limits of their planet's gravity field in order to reach their escape ship

    Moonset The Tower

The Tower is where the player's movement knowledge is finally tested, as they find themselves in front of a gargantuan tower that must be ascended in order to further their goal of escaping the planet
